Kevin Leonard

Vice President – Alternate Channels

Kevin is responsible for AT&T’s National Business Alternate Channels organization which is accountable for AT&T Retail sales activities via the Alliance channel.  The Alliance Channel contracts with independent firms (Solution Providers) to sell AT&T branded solutions to businesses.  Working with Solution Providers, the team provides small businesses with telecommunication tools from AT&T to help ensure their success.  He was appointed to his current position in November 2008.  

In leading the Alliance Channel, Kevin has earned numerous awards while being seen as an industry leader in small business sales:

  • 2017 CRN’s 50 Most Influential list
  • 2016 Circle of Excellence Channel Partner in Leadership and Innovation
  • 2013 Channel Partners Channel Executive of the Year

Before this appointment, Kevin served as Vice President of AT&T’s National Mass Markets with the responsibility of providing consumers with long distance services throughout the United States.

Since joining AT&T in 1982, Kevin has acquired a broad range of business experiences over the past 35 years.  He has held positions in such areas as product marketing, product management, customer service, channel management, process reengineering, new business development and sales management. 

Kevin is involved in his community as an active member of the Chatham Jaycees.  He has a B.A. in Mathematics from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh and an M.B.A. from New York University.  He has three children and resides in Chatham, New Jersey with his wife, Barbara.
